BIG HIT lanzó el MV de “IDOL” y en pocas horas logró obtener una buena cantidad de vistas debido al gran trabajo que realizó en el fandom de BTS. Sin embargo, las ARMY´s se sorprendieron ya que el vídeo tenía más de 56 millones de vistas, pero de pronto disminuyó a 11 millones por un momento.
Sin duda molestó a las admiradoras del grupo. En cambio a “DDU-DU DDU-DU” de BLACKPINK le agregaron 3 millones de vistas. Youtube afirmó que ellos no borran las vistas y eso enfureció más a las ARMY´s. Estos son algunos de sus comentarios: “Hay algo que es muy injusto aquí”, “”No quiero originar una pelea entre fandoms, pero porque a BLACKPNK le dan vistas y a BTS no”, “Dame una razón para explicar este problema”.
