Good Morning American de ABC publicó un segmento sobre el fenómeno K-Pop en Estados Unidos durante el año pasado, destacando artistas como PSY y BTS. Sin embargo, durante el segmento, apareció un video de “Genie” de Girls ‘Generation, con la voz en off que decía BLACKPINK. Los fanáticos investigaron un poco y descubrieron que ABC utilizó exactamente los mismos clips del “Gangnam Style” de PSY y el “Genie” de Girls ‘Generation durante su segmento de 2012 en la invasión K-Pop.
Muchos de los videoclips incluidos también muestran a Girls ‘Generation. En la escena del aeropuerto, se pueden ver múltiples corazones Soshified. Tiffany y Yoona pueden ser vistas entrando a un edificio. Los videos de prelanzamiento de Hyoyeon y Yuri se incluyeron cuando el narrador hablaba sobre el entrenamiento especial que los aspirantes a ídolos atraviesan. Tanto BLINKs como SONE quieren una disculpa oficial por el error cometido por ABC en la transmisión en vivo.
